Watch your wake
Please respect the shoreline zone. Reduce your speed to less than 10 km/h within 30 metres (100 ft) of any shoreline including narrow channels near islands. Not only is it the law, it will reduce the impact of your wake on shoreline erosion and aquatic bird nests; and it will keep your neighbours happier!
A boat pulling a water skier or tuber is exempt from the 30 metre law as it is leaving a dock perpendicular to (directly away from) the shoreline, but is subject to the law at all other times.
